Interactive demo of the Office edition

The "Precious Metals" pane for Excel, PowerPoint and Word — try it right in your browser: pick a tool and language, insert an action. With real live prices.

5 metals · 4 currencies · spot & LBMA — runs entirely in the browser, no download needed.

Google Workspace (Sheets & Slides) coming soon.

LibreOffice

The free alternative — a "Precious Metals" menu in Calc, Writer and Impress, with real editable charts.

Insert prices

A single price by metal, currency, unit (oz/g/kg) and source — current or historical.

Tables

A price table of all 5 metals, exchange rates, ratios and performance at the touch of a button.

Editable charts

Real embedded OLE diagrams (line or candlestick) — editable afterwards, not an image.

Fear & Greed

Market sentiment as a value box right in the document.

Historical values

Any value optionally at a chosen date in the past.

Simple setup

Install as an .oxt extension, sign in with your account, done.

Real charts, not screenshots

Unlike many add-ins, the LibreOffice extension inserts native, editable chart objects. Adjust axes, colours and labels freely afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

The add-ins run in Office 2016+, Microsoft 365 and Office on the web — as an Office JS add-in without .NET. Tables, charts and values work in all supported versions.

Yes. The Office JS add-ins run on Windows, macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon) and in Office on the web. On Linux you use the separate LibreOffice edition (Calc, Writer & Impress) with the same account.

For Microsoft Office the add-in is added once; in Microsoft 365 for the web it runs without installation right in the browser; LibreOffice uses an .oxt extension.

Inserted tables, charts and values are a snapshot at the moment of insertion. To get current prices, simply insert them again via the menu.

In PowerPoint and Word charts are inserted as a crisp image; LibreOffice Impress/Calc/Writer inserts native, editable OLE diagrams.

The Free plan is free forever. For all metals and functions there is Standard with a 5-minute and Plus with a per-minute refresh.
